About Us
The Purpose of Port Ministries International is to promote an effective network of port ministers and aid them as they minister to both the temporal and eternal needs of the port community. In order to reach this goal, PMI has established the following objectives:
- Emphasis and support for missions and evangelism
- Fellowship-encouragement-cooperation
- Communication and networking
- Maintain relationships with the North American Mission Board, International Mission Board and other Southern Baptist Convention Agencies
- Continuing education
- Encourage and assist new port ministries
- Sharing resources
